How to Enable the Resource on the Service Level in MioSalon ?

Overview

Enabling Resource Assignment at Service Level in MioSalon enforces strict mapping between specific salon services and the physical facilities or equipment required to perform them.

Under service-level assignment, only the resources mapped to the selected service will be available for selection when booking an appointment.

This configuration prevents operational errors such as booking a hydrotherapy bath in a standard haircutting chair or scheduling laser treatments in unequipped rooms.

Follow the guided step-by-step instructions below to enable resource assignment at the service level in MioSalon.

Navigation Path

Settings → Modules Settings → Resource → Resource Settings

Steps to Enable the Resource on the Service Level

1. Navigate to the Settings module from the main navigation sidebar.

2. Click on the Resource card located under Modules Settings.

3. Select the Resource Settings tab from the left sub-navigation menu.

4. Under the Resource Management card, ensure the Enable Resource Management toggle is switched to ON.

5. Under the Resource Assignment Type section, select the radio button for Assign Resource at Service Level.

Note

Once Assign Resource at Service Level is enabled, you must map your services to corresponding resources under In-Store Resource Mapping and Online Resource Mapping before creating appointments.
