How to Update the Birthday Greetings in MioSalon ?
Overview
The Update Birthday Greetings feature in MioSalon allows administrators to modify existing birthday greeting configurations, templates, and delivery schedules.
Salon managers use this functionality to update promotional offers, switch message templates, adjust advance dispatch days, or re-target specific customer segments.
Keeping birthday greetings up to date ensures clients always receive fresh, compliant, and attractive promotional offers.
Follow the guided step-by-step instructions below to update birthday greetings in MioSalon.
Navigation Path
Settings → Loyalty Settings → Greeting → Greetings Setup
Steps to Update Birthday Greetings
1. Navigate to Settings → Loyalty Settings → Greeting.
2. In the Greetings Setup page, locate the configured group under the Birthday section (E.g., Birth Day Wishes).
3. Click on the Edit button next to the birthday greeting group name.
4. In the Configure Greeting pop-up window, update any of the following fields as needed:
• Choose Customer Segment*: Select an updated customer audience segment.
• Message Group Name*: Modify the title of the greeting group (E.g., Birth Day Wishes).
• Change Greeting Template: Click on Change Greeting Template to pick an alternate SMS template.
• Send this message before: Change the number of advance dispatch days (E.g., 5 Days).
5. Click on the Update Group button to save your changes.
Note
Changes made to the message template or send timing will apply to all upcoming birthday greeting dispatches scheduled after the update.
