How to Enable Report Notifications in Miosalon?

Send instant notifications to managers/ admin users to notify them of negative feedback alerts, bill cancelation alerts and client data download alerts and staff daily summary reports for staff via WhatsApp, SMS and Email.


WhatsApp channel is only available for Standard and Premium plans.*

1. How to enable notification alert for negative feedback?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click "SMS” or “Email”

  • Enable the "Negative Feedback Alert".

  • By default, a template is assigned. To change the template based on your preference, click on "Change Template."

  • Choose the negative feedback alert template from the repository and click on the “Assign” button to change the template. 

    • Note: For Email notifications, an in-built template will be available and it’s not customizable.

  • Manager/admin users will receive immediate alerts when clients provide negative feedback, enabling them to address and resolve issues effectively.


2. How to enable notification alert for bill cancelation?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click "SMS”

  • Enable the "Bill Cancelation Alert".

  • By default, a template is assigned. To change the template based on your preference, click on "Change Template."

  • Choose the bill cancelation template from the repository and click on the “Assign” button to change the template. 

  • Whenever a bill gets canceled, an instant alert will be sent to the manager/admin users to take control of the situation.


3. How to enable notification alert for client data download?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click "SMS”

  • Enable the "Client Data Download Alert".

  • By default, a template is assigned. To change the template based on your preference, click on "Change Template."

  • Choose the client data download template from the repository and click on the “Assign” button to change the template. 

  • If a staff member attempts to download client data, an immediate message will be sent to the manager/admin users.


4. How to enable and send staff daily report to the staff?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click "SMS” or “Email”

  • Enable the "Staff Daily Report".

  • By default, a template is assigned. To change the template based on your preference, click on "Change Template."

  • Choose the staff daily summary report template from the repository and click on the “Assign” button to change the template. 

    • Note: For Email notifications, an in-built template will be available and it’s not customizable.

  • Each staff member will receive a daily summary message containing relevant information and updates about their tasks, appointments, and other activities.


5. How to enable the daily summary report for managers/admin users?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click “Email”

  • Enable the Daily Summary Report" and view the Email template preview.

  • Manager/admin users will receive a comprehensive daily summary including appointments and financial data.


6. How to enable the weekly summary report for managers/admin users?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click “Email”

  • Enable the Weekly Summary Report" and view the Email template preview.

  • Detailed weekly summary, providing appointment and financial information to manager/admin user


7. How to enable the monthly summary report for managers/admin users?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click “Email”

  • Enable the “Monthly Summary Report" and view the Email template preview.

  • Manager/admin users will receive a consolidated monthly report detailing appointments and revenue.


8. How to map or assign staff and users for sending report notifications?

  • Go to “Settings” in the main navigation bar on the left-hand side.

  • Scroll down to “Business Settings”, and click “Notifications”. 

  • In the "Notifications" page, click on the "Report Notifications" tab.

  • Within the "Report Notifications" tab, click “Notification Mapping”

  • View the details of the mapped users. To add new user, you can either add it from the staff login or from the “user list”.

  • Under the  "Assign Notification" column, click “Assign"

  • A new pop-up will appear within it, click on "Add Notification” for that particular user.

  • In the "Add Notification" section, provide the necessary details, which include:

    • Choose the business location.

    • Select the specific notifications for the user to receive messages, such as daily summary report, negative feedback alert, bill cancelation alert, weekly summary report, and monthly summary report.

    • In the “weekly summary report”, choose the day on which the user has to receive the report.

    • And then click “Save”
