Gift voucher access in multi-location management

Management of gift vouchers both at the network level and the location level. Network-level access allows for the management of vouchers across locations, regardless of their creation. Meanwhile, location-level management provides individual locations with the ability to create, sell, redeem, and manage their own vouchers.

1. Instructions to follow

Before switching between the network level and location level for your gift vouchers, please carefully review the following changes that will occur:

• Delete all the existing gift vouchers before switching.  

• Switching from Network Level to Location Level

  • Switching from the network level to the location level will automatically convert all existing gift vouchers into location-specific vouchers.

  •  These vouchers can only be redeemed at the specific branch where they were originally purchased.

  • Example: If you have Network Level vouchers and switch to Location Level, a customer who bought a voucher at Branch 1 can no longer use it at Branch 2. They can only redeem it at Branch 1.

• Switching from Location Level to Network Level

  • Switching from the location level to the network level will automatically convert all existing gift vouchers into location-specific vouchers. 

  • These vouchers can only be redeemed at the specific branch where they were originally purchased.

  • Example: If you have location-level vouchers and switch to Network Level, a customer who bought a voucher at Branch 1 will only redeem it at Branch 1 even if you are changing to Network Level.

2. How to enable a network-level gift voucher?

With the Network Level module, you can create and sell gift vouchers from any location and provide specific access to other locations. Clients can use their gift voucher cards at any location.

To enable this,

1. Navigate to “Multi-location Management” from the main menu.

2. Click “Settings” under Multi-location Management.

3. Under “Settings” scroll down to find “Gift Voucher”.

4. Choose “Create and Sell at Network Level” if you wish to create and sell gift vouchers from any location. 

5. Click “Save”.

3. How to enable location level gift vouchers?

At the location level module, you can create and sell gift vouchers individually for each location. Clients can then use their gift voucher cards exclusively at the respective locations.

To enable this,

1. Navigate to “Multi-location Management” from the main menu.

2. Click “Settings” under Multi-location Management, and 

3. Under “Settings” scroll down to find “Gift Voucher”.

4. Choose “Create and Sell at Location Level” if you wish to create and sell gift vouchers individually for each location. 

5. Click “Save”.
