How to Add and Manage New Customers in MioSalon?

To add new customers:


Method 1

  1. Go to the Main Menu from the left side navigation.

  2. Click Customer menu and click on Customer Segmentation.

  3. Click on New Customer button. 


Method 2

  1. Click on the + icon in the top-right corner and click Customer


Method 3

  1. Enter the new customer mobile number, name or customer ID on the Search Bar located at the top right corner.

  2. Click on Add Customer


Method 4

  1. Go to Quick Sale in the main menu.

  2. Enter the new customer mobile number, name or customer ID in the Search Bar.


Common Steps in the Add Pop-up screen

In Add Customer pop-up will display In the pop-up, enter the following information:

Fields marked with red asterisk ()* are mandatory.

  1. Mobile number Enter customer's mobile number.

  2. First name Enter the customer’s first name.

  3. Last name  Enter the customer’s last name.

    • Mandatory fields show clear error prompts if left blank.

    • Names must begin with an alphabet (A–Z).

    • Special characters are restricted at the beginning of the name.

    1. Error messages:

      • First name must start with a letter (A–Z).

      • Last name must start with a letter (A–Z).

      • This field is required.

    2. Example

      John D’Souza — Valid
      #Mary — Invalid (starts with special character)
      123John — Invalid (starts with number)





  4. Customer ID Enter a unique customer ID.

  5. Email ID -  Enter the customer’s email address.

  6. Gender - Choose the customer's gender, male or female.

  7. DOB - Get the customer's date of birth to send personalized wishes.

  8. Anniversary - Get the customer's anniversary to send personalized wishes.

  9. Location - Mention the customer’s location based on the customer form settings.

    1. Enter location manually if its custom location.

    2. If it’s fixed location, choose from pre-defined locations. 

  10. Source - Choose the source from pre-defined list.

  11. GST number - Enter the customer’s GST number, if any.

  12. Address - Enter the detailed address of the customer.

  13. Customer note - Mention the specific notes given by the customer, if any.

  14. Custom fields- If you need to collect any additional information, get it from custom fields.

  15. Send SMS Type - Choose the message type to send automated messages.

    1. Transactional Messages - Messages that are related to appointments, reminders, invoices and OTP’s

    2. Promotional Messages - Messages that are related to marketing campaigns, such as discount coupons, gift vouchers and greetings.
