Overview
MioSalon allows you to import customers in bulk using an Excel template. This feature helps you quickly migrate or onboard customer data without adding each customer manually. You can also upload customers from different countries using their respective country codes.
Purpose of Bulk Import
Bulk import helps you to:
Migrate existing customer databases into MioSalon
Add customers across multiple outlets quickly
Upload customers with international mobile numbers and country codes
Maintain consistent and structured customer records
Navigation Path
Settings → Data & Migration → Upload Customer Data
Steps to Import Customer Data
Go to Settings.
Under Data & Migration, select Upload Customer Data.
Click Download Template to download the Excel template.
Open the template and fill in the customer details such as:
Customer Name
Mobile Number
Country Code
Email
Location (optional)
Save the file on your computer.
Click Upload and select the saved Excel file.
Map the Excel sheet columns with the corresponding MioSalon data fields.
Click Proceed.
Review the completed sheet and click Submit.
The customers will be uploaded successfully. If there are errors, check the error message, correct the data, and re-upload the file.
Important Points to Consider
Mobile Number is mandatory and must be entered without spaces.
Country Code is mandatory and must be entered in ISO alphabetical format (Example: IN, AF).
The file must be saved only in .xlsx or .xls format.
Other fields are optional and can be left blank.
You can upload up to 1000 customers at a time.
If Customer Location Settings are enabled, only the predefined locations will be accepted during the upload.
Country Code Format
While importing customers, ensure that the country code is entered using the ISO two-letter format.
