Modified on Thu, 17 Jul at 1:15 PM

You can now add predefined reasons for appointment cancellations, making it easier for your staff to stay consistent and for you to track why appointments are being cancelled.

Step 1: Add a New Cancellation Reason

  1. Log in to your MioSalon account.

  2. Go to Settings

  1. Navigate to Module Settings and click on Appointment.

  1. Scroll down to Cancellation Reasons.

  1. Click the Add Reason button. An Add a Cancellation Reason pop-up will appear.

  1. Type your reason in the text box (e.g., No-showclient cancelled).

Note: You can add multiple reasons. These will appear in a dropdown when cancelling an appointment.

  1. Click on Save. The reason for cancellation will be saved successfully.

Step 2: Edit or Delete a Reason

  1. To remove a reason, click the Delete icon next to the created reasons.

  1. To Edit a reason, delete the old one and add a new one.

Note: A created reason can’t be edited.

Step 3: Use a Preset Reason While Cancelling an Appointment

  1. Go to your calendar and select the appointment you want to cancel.

  1. Click on Cancel Appointment.

  1. Choose a reason from the dropdown list.

  1. Click Cancel Appointment to confirm.

The selected cancellation reason will now appear against the appointment in your Appointment List view.
