How to create custom packages?

A Custom Package in MioSalon is a flexible service bundle that allows clients to select and personalize the services they want within a set number of total sessions. Unlike fixed packages, where clients must avail of all listed services, custom packages give clients the freedom to choose from a list of services and decide how many sessions they want for each. The total number of sessions across all chosen services cannot exceed the overall limit set for the package.

Example of a Custom Package:

Let’s take a look at an example to understand how the custom package works:

Package Name: Wellness Retreat Package

Total Session Count: 10 sessions

Package Validity: 90 days from purchase

Services Included:

• Facial – Max 5 sessions

• Massage – Max 4 sessions

• Manicure – Max 2 sessions

• Pedicure – Max 2 sessions

How the Client Can Use Their Sessions:

• Facial: 3 sessions

• Massage: 4 sessions

• Manicure: 2 sessions

• Pedicure: 1 session

The client has chosen a total of 10 sessions, which perfectly fits the limit of the package.

To create a custom package, follow these steps: 

1. Login to MioSalon.

2. Go to Settings from the main menu. 

3. Navigate to Module Settings and click on Packages.

4.  Click on the Add New Package button in the right corner.

5. In the Add New Package popup, enter all the necessary information:

Note: In custom packages, single service with multiple sittings is not applicable. 

1. Package Type: Choose type as Custom

2. Package Name: Enter a suitable name for the package 

3. Tag Service to Package: Select the services to be included in the package. It will be added to the service list section. For each service, specify:

   1. Service Name: The name of the service.

   2. Maximum Service Count: The number of sessions the client must complete.

   3. Price: The total price per session.

   4. Tax: Select the applicable tax rate for the package.

   5. Delete: Use this action icon to remove a service if needed.

4. Tax: Choose the tax value for the package

5. Total Service Count: The total session count is the maximum number of sessions the client can use across all services in the package but it should be less than the maximum session count. 

6. Package Validity: Specify the number of days the package is valid from the purchase date.

7. Cost Price: Calculate the total cost based on the services and session count.

8. Special Price: The discounted price for the package purchase.

9. Click on the Save button.
