Adding Products or Uploading products

Products can be imported from your previous database to ease the migration process into the Miosalon software.

There are two types of products categorization: Internal products and Retail products 

Let's see how to add a new product  

  1. Click settings and select Products under Modules settings.

  2. Click Add Product category ( ex- grouping the products based on brands). 

  3. Click Add Product and fill the required details.

  4. If the product is used only for internal use - click on Enable for internal use.

  5. If required, select the HSN/SAC code from the drop-down list.

  6. Enter the In stock Quantity and minimum quantity alert level for your branch.

  7. Click Save

Whereas, to Import Product follow the below steps 

  1. Click Import product

  2. Click Download template from the top

  3. Enter information according to the given template and save the file. 

  4. Click Import product and select the saved file to upload it.

  1. Things to be Considered while importing the Product list.

    • Avoid duplicate names and special characters (ex : *,~,# etc) in sheet,

    • cost price that you purchase from the vendor and it should be lesser then Full Price (C.P<F.P)

    • Full price on which product is sold to Customers.

    • Enter the tax name (also make sure tax is created in the settings option or else leave the tax column blank), 

    • Quantity (stock in hand) 

    • Minimum level (will give alert notification)

    • Fill in details such as HSN Code and SAC Code in the particular column 

    • And the last is Internal use ( give if it is for internal purposes or if it's for the retail purpose)
